Summer Day Program
This program is designed to develop:
- A Love of horses by teaching
- riding skills and the daily care of
horses.
- Individual Riding skills
Self confidence
- The understanding of the
responsibility of owning and caring
for horses.
- The awareness of Safety around
horses.

Orion Farm Summer Day
Program offers a hands-on,
safe, fun and educational
experience with horses.

Learn:
- New riding skills
- Proper grooming
- Basic horse care & feeding
- Horse anatomy
- Correct use of tack
- Horse show etiquette

Program hours are Monday through
Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
All children are to bring a lunch each
day. There is a beverage vending
machine on the premises if needed.
All participants must have their own
well-fitted approved riding helmet
(ASTM/SEI tested). Participants need
to wear long pants and hard soled shoes
with a heel. (Preferably leather paddock
boots or another type of boot). You may
bring a change of clothes but
no flip flops or sandals.

Cost of Day Program per week is
$250.00.
Two consecutive weeks cost
$450.00 (a saving of $50.00)
Sign up early as limited
space is available.
A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is due
at sign up with the balance to be paid in
full 2 weeks before program starts.
July 5th through the 9th
July 12th through the 16th
August 2nd through the 6th
August 9th through the 13th.
